![]() They are unable to spread through Snow Blocks. In Hardmode, the Corruption, Crimson, and Hallow can spread through it, generating Purple, Red, and Pink Ice Blocks respectively. The Ice biome is the only place where Frozen Chests ( (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) Ice Chests) can be found naturally. ![]() Thin Ice can be found generated over water and breaks when a character falls over 4 tiles onto it (unless using the Ice Skates or another accessory crafted from them). It is composed mainly of Snow Blocks and Ice Blocks. On the Nintendo 3DS version, the Ice biome starts at the Underground layer. Bringing back the old boss back for one last fight.BUT THIS TIME AS THE MOON.The Ice biome, also known as the Underground Tundra or Underground Snow biome, is a biome that is the underground version of the Snow biome, starting at the Cavern layer and stopping at the lava layer. I was gonna talk about a moon biome with an underground moon biome to expand the underground even farther, but if it does pull a Majora's Mask, it could kind of be like a vertical Wall of Flesh.that sounds VERY interesting to me. :3 Maybe in 1.3, if the Moon is an actual place we can go rather than it pulling a Majora's Mask move and crashing down.ACTUALLY THOUGH. It seems no doubt the largest, unless you make your count Pure, Corrupted, and Hallowed as buomes, then one could over run your world, but the underground is a part of every biome, and contains some snall biomes within like spiders nests, hives, jungle, and that is all I can get off the top of my head. DARNIT! (Puts real glasses back on) Also, I am glad the Underground got no votes. (Puts on empty glasses frames) Wait, I need actual glasses. Gosh first I said the Underworld is a bit plain and now I say the desert isn't. I do agree it could be improved, but I enjoy it as is myself. Certain tools can only be found there, like the Sand Gun, the sandstorm, the flying carpet, and a full vanity set. But the desert itself is the only home of antlions and vultures, and I always find unique mobs interesting. When your desert is like mine, a random grouping of sand undergorund, then I can see that. I don't agree much that the desert is the worst like the poll suggests. I honestly do feel this, and I am not only doing this to be some Terraria hipster or whatever, and I hope people actually read past the first sentence and don't call me an attention seeking hipster or whatever, why would I do that when I can make valid arguments? x3 K bai. Wut did I just unleash upon TCF.mah gawd) hellstone, and in general useful things for fighting WOF and maybe getting into early HM. Perhaps it could provide more shadow chests within it, and some materials like normal healing potions (Though I beat the WoF with a swig of honey, no preperations made before the battle x3 Nah but it was scary, lived with 1 heart. Maybe tunnels in the hills of ash, and maybe, just maybe, some kind of demon temple? It would be fun to see some dungeon like building that would be raidable in the Underworld. I feel like something could be done to make the Underworld more fun than annoying. Once I found one with a room filled with lava due to the lava pool above it, lucky I didn't open that door. The only real variation are craters that reach the map floor, and houses, which can either be very interesting or a big flop. Nah, but really, I have always found the Underworld a bit lacking, sometimes I can go so far just seeing ash and lava pools all the way to the end of the map. I'm gonna go ahead and be hipster and say Underworld. I'd love to solve more puzzles in Terraria, even though it's a Adventure game first & Foremost. If Relogic revamps the Pyramid at any time in the future, I hope they do something like what the Island Adventure Pyramid did, which is make the structure a puzzle that can't just be cheated through, or just make it purely Sandstone with some new Sandstone-yellow dart traps & yellow pressure plates to make it harder to spot them. No unique tools or weapons, and the actual Pyramid is quite literally a long hallway with a room near the beginning. ![]() There's no cool & unique structures that are worth exploring (Like the Jungle & Dungeon), and the loot that you get from Pyramids are really lackluster, since all you get is a couple accessories and a vanity set. ![]() Besides that, it has nothing else going on for it. There's very little content to Deserts, since the only things that make it stand out are the monsters, Pyramids, and Waterleaf. It's supposed to be the purity that exists outside of the Hallow & the Corruption. The Ocean has Duke Fishron, alongside unique mobs and the Angler, while the Forest is supposed to be plain. ![]()
